A little boudoir session to start a life together...

I posted a comment on my Facebook business page saying that I was "dying to do a boudoir session" and said that I would do the session for free for the first to comment. I was really happy that Kassidi was the first because not only is she gorgeous, but I knew she had a wedding coming up. It was also a huge bonus that she is such a nice, fun person! 

Kass and I got together one morning and spent a very fun session capturing her in the shirt her soon-to-be husband would wear for the wedding as well as some really cute outfits that she had brought along! I fell in love with the hat and those are some of my favorite images from this awesome session! Enjoy!

My favorite picture of 2012

2012 was a terrific year for my business! I gained some clients that have turned into friendships as well as spent time with clients that I already love! Thank you to those that made it such a great year! I look forward to the new adventures and opportunities that 2013 will bring!
As for my resolutions for 2013, I don't normally do them, but I hope to keep up on my blogging!! Can't improve if you don't try, right?

I would like to share with you just one of the many favorites of my work this year. I had so many favorites that it was difficult to choose. This image came out on top because of the fun I had taking the photo as well as the artistic appeal it has for me.

The first 6 weeks

I have been participating in a very inspiring project hosted by Photography Bootcamp on Facebook. It is call Project 52 and idea is to follow (or not, they're not picky) the theme from week to week with the goal just to be to get out and shoot things or think outside the box for your next shot. I get behind some weeks submitting things, but I am doing my best to keep up with the new theme every week. Here are my first 6 weeks.... Week 7: Black and White (yay!!)

New goings ons

I can not believe how long it's been since my last post! I am officially a horrible blogger! Because photography is my passion, I have "well documented" her life as my husband has told me, but I will share 1 or 2 favorites since my last post. Thanks for sticking with me!

She is 11 months old now and I hope to share her one year photos in about a month. Stay tuned!

Wow time flies!!

I can't believe it's been a month since my last post! Well, since then I have had a few new developments as far as my photography goes. I upgraded my camera which was a very scary but exciting venture. Anna has started teething (not photography related but still seems important). I am attending a photo workshop next Wednesday with a friend and am very much looking forward to it! I was asked to be the first artist in an artist showcase at the Montana Sidesaddle which is a huge honor! On top of all that I have been out and about taking some landscape and art shots too! Also, I still have openings for spring and summer photo sessions so let's take advantage of this gorgeous green foliage and do some senior portraits!
